Junior Robotics Students to Automate Colleges Glasshouse 2019

The major project for the juniors this year is to try and automate the colleges glasshouse. This will involve using the JackBords, MQTT ans node-red so that they can monitor the various conditions in the glasshouse, derive a plan of action based upon the inputs and then use hardware to control the various elements in the glasshouse such as fans, misters, water valves etc.

They have started the planning process with a visit to the glasshouse in Feb and the whiteboard brainstorming began shortly after.
