Navy Rescue Drone Tests 13 Aug 2019
These videos are of some tests we did on the Naval rescue drones new torsion box fuselage, improved rudder and undercarriage. The main aim was to see how it handled on a grassy field and to see if we could do some short bunny hops to determine the base flight characteristics of the wing. As you will see for the most part it went well. Despite all of the crashes the only real damage to the fuselage was a slightly bent main spar. But the fuselage did achieve one of its main goals which is to protect the prop, engine and payload.
This video shows some of the tests of the Naval rescue drone we did on the playing field.

Still in one piece!
