Navy Rescue Drone Rudder and Skid Ground Tests 19 March 2019

We fitted a new rudder and skid to the naval rescue drone to see if we could improve control ability on the ground. Some planes in the old days used skids to keep them centered. The rudder seems to be quite good but the skid is not doing well. The plastic wing surface is there simply for testing and cant be flown.
