First Drone Taxi Tests on Grass 25 June 2019

This is the first time we have tried the naval rescue drone on grass. The old skid plate is gone replaced by a wheel at the rear. The undercarriage wheels turned out to be a little on the small side which made it difficult for the drone to move efficiently.
This is the naval rescue drone being built by the senior robotics students at Paraparaumu College and is kindly supported by the New Zealand Navy.
